Frontex Training Unit offers training courses and seminars for border guards on subjects related to the control and surveillance of the external borders of EU.

The aim of the “Detection of Stolen Cars Project” is to train border guard officers in detecting and identifying stolen cars that remains as one of the most prevalent crimes at the present time.

In the middle of February 2009, Frontex will organize, in cooperation with the Cesena Partnership Academy (Italy), the evaluation meeting of this project.  This meeting is planned at the beginning of every year and will be the project’s road map: updating of the training tool, translator workshops, multiplier and national training activities.
