Exhibition of Border Surveillance Technology - Invitation for Industry
04-02-2010
On 24 May 2010 in Warsaw, Frontex will host a conference and exhibition on “Surveillance Technology for Border Control”. Themes of the conference will be national surveillance practices, EUROSUR, and research projects in the area. Key decision-makers responsible for implementing technologies at the borders will attend.
Frontex therefore invites leading industries in the field of border surveillance (including but not limited to C4I, sensors, UAV/UVG, radars, system integration etc.) to attend the conference as participants and/or exhibitors. The exhibition will continue on 25 May, the European Day of Border Guards, when, in honour of the fifth anniversary of the foundation of the Agency, another conference on “The future of border management in Europe including the role of Frontex” will take place. Due to limited space, we will accept expressions of interest on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, as follows:
1. If you wish to attend as an exhibitor (for 2 days, 24-25 May), participation is limited to a maximum of two attendees per company and for a maximum of twenty stands. There will be an opportunity for you to present your solutions to delegates during the breaks. Although the exhibition space is free of charge, exhibitors will be required – at their own expense - to set up their own stands and equipment in order to display products and solutions.
2. If you wish to attend the conference on border surveillance (24 May) and the conference on the future of border management (25 May) only as a participant (not as an exhibitor), only one representative per company will be accepted. Attendance is free of charge, but industry representatives will be asked to cover the cost of their accommodation.
Please express your interest to Frontex by March, 26 exclusively by e-mail to Monica Gariup at , and indicate if you intend to: a) exhibit (and if so, specify the minimum space in square meters you would need for your equipment), or b) participate as an attendee (and if so, please specify whether only for 24 May or for both events). Your participation will be confirmed within five working days. Again, capacity is limited and your attendance will be determined on a strictly first come, first served basis so in order to avoid disappointment you should express your interest immediately.
The venue of the conference is:
Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Centre

00-844 Warszawa,
Tel.: +48 (0) 22 356 55 55
